ClickLab is a YouTube thumbnail previewer and click-testing app. This page is a plain-language summary of what we collect and why — not a novel.

Public previewer

On the free YouTube thumbnail previewer, your thumbnail and title stay in the browser while you preview. We do not upload that image just because you dropped it. Closing the tab discards unsaved preview files.

If you tap Share, we store compressed JPEG thumbnails and create a public click-test link. Guest shares expire after 7 days unless you later save them to an account.

When you use the app

If you create an account or save a project, we store what the product needs to work: titles, thumbnail files, projects, click-test votes, and channel settings you connect. Signed-out “local” projects live in your browser until you choose to save them to an account.

Account

Sign-in is handled by our auth provider (email). We keep the profile fields the app shows you — name, email, and workspace membership.

Analytics

We use first-party analytics (including PostHog) and, on marketing pages, a TikTok pixel to understand whether ClickLab is useful. We do not sell your personal information.

YouTube

If you connect a channel, we store public catalog data needed to build competitor feeds and research. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC; ClickLab is not affiliated with Google or YouTube.
